ABA SECTION OF ANTITRUST LAW: LAW STUDENT ADVISORY PANEL

Please find a message below from your FIU Law SBA President sharing a message from the ABA Section of Antitrust Law:

Hello,

I am writing to invite you to apply to the ABA Section of Antitrust Law’s (the “Section”) new Law Student Advisory Panel.

The Panel’s main goal is to develop events, initiatives, and opportunities for nearly 2,000 law students seeking to become more engaged in the Section’s committees, programs and activities. As a member of the Panel, you will be working directly with attorneys and consumer protection practitioners from around the world. Section leaders will be relying on you, as a member of the Panel, to provide feedback on current methods of engaging law students as well as input on new ideas to improve these efforts.

The Panel is expected to be comprised of 4-6 law students from varying law school class years and 4-5 attorneys. This is an excellent chance to develop professional connections early in your career. It is also an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the growth and success of the profession, and to learn more about the fields of antitrust and consumer protection, the Section, and the ABA at large.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Law Student Panel, please email Membership & Diversity Committee Co-Chair Scott Perlman at sperlman@mayerbrown.com with a brief statement sharing the law school you are attending, why you want to serve on the Taskforce, and what ideas you have to engage law students in the Section.

Don’t miss this opportunity to make your mark and to jump start your career in the field of antitrust or consumer protection!

Sincerely,

Scott P. Perlman
