Started in 2010, the Writers in Residence are a select group of pre-law, current law students, and legal professionals who contribute monthly articles to the Ms. JD blog on a topic of their choosing. Applicants will be notified as to whether they have been selected to participate by Monday, Dec. 7, 2015.
Requirements:
Submission components: (1) Name; (2) email; (3) telephone #; (4) law school you attend/graduated from; (5) current occupation (i.e. law student; associate; etc.); (6) proposed column title (approximately 50 characters or less); (7) description of column idea (100-300 words); (8) list of any relevant writing experience; and (9) short writing sample (need not be legal)

ELECTRONIC PRIVACY INFORMATION CENTER (EPIC) – 2016 LAW FELLOWSHIP [DEADLINE: NOV. 2, 2015]
EPIC is a leading privacy and civil liberties organization, based in Washington, D.C., working to protect the public interest and to promote the Public Voice in decisions concerning the future of the Internet. EPIC pursues public interest litigation, conducts public education, testifies in Congress, organizes conferences, coordinates grassroots advocacy, and publishes books, reports, and an online newsletter. The EPIC Law Fellow will receive an annual salary of $51,500 along with a comprehensive benefits package.
