The Investment Company Institute, the Washington, DC-based association representing regulated funds globally (mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and closed-end funds), is offering a free webinar to introduce law students from diverse backgrounds to legal and compliance career opportunities in the asset management industry.
At the conclusion of the webinar, we will encourage attendees to upload their resumés into ICI’s resume repository, which is accessible for review only by ICI member firms (i.e., asset management companies), seeking to hire interns and new talent.
Webinar topics will include:
- The asset management industry at-a-glance
- How asset managers serve investors
- The range of legal and compliance career opportunities in asset management
- A day in the life of an asset management attorney
- Advice for entering and finding success in the asset management industry
Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the webinar. Questions also may be submitted in advance during the webinar registration process.
