CAREER CONNECTIONS: COMPETITION & ANTITRUST IN AGRICULTURAL LAW [NOV. 1, 2023]

The LL.M. Program in Agricultural and Food Law at the University of Arkansas School of Law and the Food Law Student Network are co-hosting a webinar on career paths in the areas of competition and antitrust in agriculture. Come learn what it is like to work in this exciting area of food and agricultural law. Experts in the field will share about current cases, their career paths, and career opportunities in the area. Many job opportunities are available in this field in private practice, nonprofits, trade associations, and Federal government agencies including the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) are involved in enforcing these laws. Join this one-hour webinar to learn more about career opportunities and make connections in this important area of law.

Looking for more information on this area of the law?  There are a number of federal antitrust and competition laws attorneys in this area focus on, including the Sherman Act (1890), The Federal Trade Commission Act (1914), the Clayton Act (1914), and the Packers and Stockyards Act (1921).
