FUTURE LEADERS OF LAW SCHOLARSHIP [DEADLINE: JULY 30, 2017]
Education is the key to the betterment of the individual and society. The legal profession holds a special place in society, often being the last recourse for the disenfranchised to find redress for the injustices it faces, while establishing the order that is necessary to hold together the fabric of a society.
Today, students are graduating college with unprecedented amounts of debt. 12khz holds the belief that we should all be doing our part to alleviate this problem, and we have chosen to help the future leaders of the industry that we support. We hope to help students of law to pay for some of their school expenses so that they can focus on learning. The only thing that we ask in return is for our students to pay it forward some day.
Eligibility: Permanent U.S. resident or citizens enrolled in law school
Award: $500
Requirements: (1) Minimum GPA 3.25 and (2) record of community involvement
Submission components: (1) Application (see below); (2) undergraduate and law school transcript; and (3) a short letter introducing yourself to the agency (no more than 1 page)
