BLACK WOMEN LAWYERS ASSOCIATION OF LOS ANGELES 2016 SCHOLARSHIP [DEADLINE: APR. 16, 2016 BY 11:59 P.M.]
Each year the Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles awards scholarships to law students (both female and male) who intend to practice law in Southern California. They have expressed an interest this year in expanding their pool of applicants and have asked to share this opportunity with FIU Law students.
Interviews will take place on April 30 or May 7, 2016. Scholarship recipients must attend the Black Women Lawyers Scholarship Luncheon on Saturday, June 4, 2016.
Eligibility: Scholarships are limited to full-time law students in their 2nd or 3rd year and part-time students in their 3rd or 4th year who intend to practice law in the Southern California area
Award: Scholarships typically range from $3,000 – $5,000
