NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN JUDGES (NAWJ) – SCHOLARSHIP CONTEST [DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 8, 2014]

FIU Law is proud to announce the NAWJ scholarship contest.

Who: All current FIU Law students are encouraged to apply

Requirements: To apply, submit an essay of no more than 500 words to lawadmit@fiu.edu. Your essay must address the following question:

Why are fair and impartial courts a sacred tenet of our democracy?

Award: The winning author will receive a $500 scholarship, funded by District 5 of the NAWJ. The winning entry will be announced on Thursday, October 2 at the Separation of Powers in Danger – a panel discussion hosted by FIU Law and sponsored by the Informed Voters Project.
