SCHOLARSHIP update:

KRIST LAW FIRM P.C. NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP [DEADLINE: MAR. 31, 2018]

Houston maritime lawyer of Krist Law Firm is glad to announce its annual scholarship program. The scholarship provides the fund to students to accomplish their educational goals and prepare for future career aspirations. Winner will be announced by Apr. 30, 2018.

Eligibility: Open to those students who are accepted to or currently enrolled in an accredited graduate program within the U.S. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Award: $10,000

Requirements: (1) Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; (2) demonstrate good character and high initiative

Submission components: (1) Application (see link below); (2) transcript; (3) letter of recommendation from a teacher/faculty member; (4) brief personal statement as to why you deserve to receive this scholarship and in what way it will further impact your education (applicants are highly encouraged to speak from the heart); and (5) essay (300-500 words about a time when you faced a significant ethical dilemma. The Federal Bar Association Broward County Chapter, Federal Law Clerks Division, invites you to its Second Annual Federal Law Clerk Recruiting Reception. This event provides a great opportunity for job-seeking federal law clerks to connect with public and private legal organizations and public interest organizations located in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties.
