JUST THE BEGINNING – A PIPELINE ORGANIZATION’S SHARE THE WEALTH JUDICIAL CLERKSHIP PROGRAM [DEADLINE: JULY 27, 2015]

Share The Wealth encourages highly-qualified minority, underrepresented, and economically disadvantaged law students to apply for federal judicial clerkships. This year there are seven judges participating.

FULBRIGHT U.S. SCHOLAR PROGRAM GRANT OPPORTUNITY IN EUROPE & EURASIA IN THE FIELD OF LAW [DEADLINE: AUGUST 3, 2015]

The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government, and it is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the U.S. and the people of other countries.

Applications for the 2016-2017 academic year are currently being accepted and they are soliciting applications for a broad range of awards in the legal field, including but not limited to:

ORANGE COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION – NEW LAWYER TRAINING PROGRAM 2015: THE FUNDAMENTALS OF PRACTICE IN ORANGE COUNTY [AUGUST 7-8, 2015]

In this dynamic, intensive two-day training program designed especially for young lawyers, participants will learn from the experts how to navigate the court system and practice with professionalism – and success – in Orange County. Participants will meet key players in the offices of the Clerk of Courts, Public Defender, and State Attorney. In addition, they will get to meet the judges before having to appear before them and ask questions of some of the most well-respected and successful lawyers in Central Florida. These practical sessions – and much more – will help new attorneys become professional, confident, and successful practitioners in Orange County and beyond!
