WORLD IP DAY – GET UP, STAND UP. FOR MUSIC. [APRIL 26, 2015]

EVENT_WorldIPDay2015

World IP Day was launched in 2000 by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to promote and protect creative ideas, including music, art, trademarks, writings and inventions. AIPLA, working with local IP law associations, Chambers of Commerce, cities, and law schools, celebrated World IP nationally, and internationally, in a grand fashion.

The event theme for 2015 World IP Day is “music.” Not knowing how one may perceive music is the beauty of creating it. Although music varies in style, it uniquely has a way of uniting people. The imaginative minds behind the music and the evolving technology used to create it give us the ability to enjoy these sounds and access them with the simple click of a finger. The relationship between man and music will never die, but predicting its course is impossible. Join us to explore the vast changes that are currently shaping the industry and hear the opinions on the future from those that are heavily involved in the process.
